I tried a new restaurant the other day, serving Shabu Shabu (yes, I had no idea what that was, just that it was either Korean or Japanese. Its from Japan apparently).
Let me state for the record, that I hated it. Hated. I need more flavour then normal soup, and I must have dropped half the contents of the pepper bottle into that soup. Didn't help much.
Maybe if they had the option to switch to curry or tom yam soup, it would have turned out better.

On a positive note, the purple yam things were good. Also, missed out a chance to take a photo of the hot plate start buttons, my bad.
