Quad Rehash
Greetings,
A re-hash from the main blog, for just the photos.
View along the bar and the outside, it faces the city scape.
Pretty much the same shot, deal with it.
A shot of the pillar and ceiling. Note the design.
Zoomed in tight on the Chinese calligraphy used, Jason says it means 'Spring'.
A blurred shot of the rain corridor and some poor shmuck getting caught in the rain. (sorry blame the beer)
I also noticed that the building had super huge lift doors. These are the kind you see in Resident Evil, or even Doom (or Return to Castle Wolfenstein)
Seriously, look at them doors!
What are they trying to move? You could fit a whole car through that!

Art gallery visit
Greetings,
I visited an art gallery!
I'm all hoity toity now, I'm better then the rest of you!
Just messing :) I do think working with oils would be an amazing stress relief from work and stuff. I know of a great art supply store on the way home, I think I'll swing by the place today and see what they have to offer.
In the insanity of flying back in bad weather, I didn't watermark the previous photos. Rest assured, that wont happen again. Or it will, and I just wont bring it up. We'll see.

Jakarta's sexy new building
Greetings,
I'm not sure why but this one building in Jakarta has caught my attention.
To me, it looks like someone's gone and haphazardly piled shipping containers on top of each other, and didn't quite do a good job of it. From the side photo's you can see bits of the 'containers' jutting out.
Sadly, it was still under construction, so I never did get the building name.
