Water garden

Greetings,

My water garden is doing great! My lilies are growing well since I transplanted them into a new pot with fresh clay soil. The previous owners had a pot in the water garden and all that was growing in it were 4 green sticks. I was close to throwing it away but since I had 2 more pots and plenty of clay I cut the roots in half and planted them into two separate pots. I've since then given one pot to an uncle, but the 'water orchids' have yet to stop flowering. Since I've taken these pictures, another 3-6 new buds have come up.

Well things have died down a bit for me to be able to get photos of the house and some of the furniture online.

Playing with colour

Kitchen update

Got the kitchen wall finished, they just need to acid it up and put in the tempered glass hob and hood.


The above picture shows the old tile work and the older exhaust fan, hob and hood.




The two pictures above show the new sexier tile work in place. The new hob and hood will be in by the end of the week

World's largest carrot

That's right!
Unearthed recently near my workplace, the world's largest carrot.

(slightly discolored, and with people in the picture so you can gauge its size)
